D is for Distinct Dinosaur
Today’s art activity is called D is for Distinct Dinosaur. The students learned more about dinosaurs today. In circle time, we danced like dinosaurs by stomping our feet, swinging our tails, and chomping our jaws. We practiced making the d sound and then made a dinosaur in class. We used uppercase D as the body. We placed it sideways or as one student said, “D is sleeping!” and then added a tail, feet, neck, plates, head, and eye. The students then used a marker to add other dinosaur features.
