Calico Cat

Today’s class is called C is for Calico Cat 🐱
We talked about what calico cats look like. Calico cats have at least three different colors in their fur often the colors orange, white, and black. We talked about what letter cat starts with C. We practiced making the c sound and thought of words that start with the letter C. Big Hippo thought of 30 words! We also practiced purring like cats. Some students were able to roll their tongues to make a purring sound!
In class, we used a color key and followed the key to paint the cat on the art sheet. We used orange, blue, brown, yellow, and green to make our own calico cat!
